Euonymus sieboldianus bonsai (spindle tree), an ornamental deciduous fruit-bearing species. It is prized for its spring flowering, with small, four-petalled white-green flowers, and the subsequent fruiting, producing reddish capsules which split open as they ripen, revealing red-orange seeds. The foliage, initially green, takes on splendid red-orange hues in autumn and is shed in winter, often leaving the fruits visible on the branches. The fine, dense branching creates a harmonious and well-balanced silhouette. Grown in a cream glazed stoneware cloud pot, it exudes elegance and sets off the deep green foliage to great effect.
