Zelkova nire – Elm – 78 cm
A Zelkova nire bonsai measuring 68.5 cm in height (excluding the pot), with a trunk diameter of 4 cm and a nebari of 15 cm. The plant is grown in an oval glazed stoneware pot measuring 43 x 28 x H9.5 cm.
The Zelkova nire bonsai, an evergreen indoor plant, is prized for its hardiness, adaptability and vigorous growth. It is characterised by its small, serrated, deep green leaves, which form a compact and harmonious canopy that highlights every detail of the tree’s structure. It features a tiered style, with the canopy spread across several levels, creating a harmonious effect and a sense of visual depth that highlights the ‘S’-shaped curve of the trunk, making the composition dynamic yet orderly. Grown in a green glazed stoneware oval pot, it creates a chromatic continuity with the canopy and gives the composition a balanced and harmoniously structured appearance.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains. From spring to fall, you can also place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water it thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
