DESCRIPTION

Bonsai are living things and each one is different from the others, so the plant you receive will be similar to, but not exactly the same as, the one shown in the photograph. The height may vary as the plant grows.
The size, colour and shape of the pot may vary depending on availability.
This Carmona macrophylla (tea plant) bonsai, an evergreen houseplant, is prized for the small, star-shaped white flowers it produces in spring and summer. Its foliage, with glossy, compact leaves, is well-structured and gives the plant a refined appearance. It features a tiered style with an ‘S’-shaped trunk, where the curves of the trunk guide the eye from the base up to the foliage, whilst the foliage is arranged in distinct tiers that lend depth, movement and lightness to the composition. The oval, olive-green glazed stoneware pot creates a chromatic balance that highlights the glossy foliage without distracting from the bonsai’s form.

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
